APSEA collects data through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online form hosted in Rutgers REDCap, a highly protected system with advanced encryption and multiple security layers. Personal identifiers like name and age are used only to prevent duplicate entries, and data is de-identified for analysis. Contact information is collected solely to follow up with participants interested in our programs or who may need further health support.
How are donations used?
Donations directly support the purchase of essential medical equipment, including blood glucose monitors, blood pressure kits, glucose strips, bioimpedance devices, pulse oximeters, and A1c testing kits, enabling us to provide quality health screenings.
